The group NCT WISH is raising the heart rates of global fans as they take part in an overseas travel variety show for the first time since their debut.
Global K-pop content platform Mnet Plus announced today (the 6th) the launch of its new original travel variety content "ON THE MAP" (hereafter "On the Map" / CP Lee Han-hyung, directed by Lee Sun-young, Ham Ga-hyung) and released the main poster. This "On the Map" revealed that the trendsetting boy group NCT WISH (Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, Sakuya), who captured global fans with their distinctive refreshing appeal, will appear together, raising expectations.
"On the Map" is a "K-pop idol global adventure" program in which artists travel the world, take on hidden challenges in each place, and through that complete a single map. Expanding the artist's "real moments offstage" into a format of travel and challenges, it is expected to vividly document the excitement and adventure that unfold in unfamiliar environments. The NCT WISH episodes are scheduled to be released weekly, one episode each week, for a total of six weeks on Mnet Plus and the Mnet channel.
Above all, the released main poster, set against the landmark of Mongolia where the journey begins, the "Genghis Khan equestrian statue," features visuals full of excitement from the six members about to embark on their adventure, arousing curiosity. NCT WISH, who have so far displayed a refreshing charm on stage, are expected to bring fun and freshness as they face various challenges on the unfamiliar Mongolian land.
Beyond a travel entertainment show that is simply watched and enjoyed, the process of completing NCT WISH's own "challenge map" through special challenges they encounter at every moment is expected to deliver thrilling tension and unexpected healing to both the Siryunies (fan club name) and viewers alike.
Meanwhile, the Mnet Plus original "ON THE MAP" NCT WISH episode will first be released on Mnet Plus on Jan. 20 (Tue) at 8 p.m., and will air on Mnet for the first time the next day, Jan. 21 (Wed) at 8 p.m.
