The group Apink made a hit debut on domestic and international charts with their 11th mini album.
Apink (Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jeong Eun-ji, Kim Nam-joo, Oh Ha-young)'s 11th mini album released on the 5th, RE : LOVE, and its title track Love Me More ranked No. 1 on Bugs' real-time chart as of 7 p.m. that day and No. 1 on Melon's newly released (1 week) chart as of 8 a.m. on the 6th.
Apink also began to sail on global charts. As of 11 a.m. on the 6th, the mini album RE : LOVE had landed on iTunes top album charts in 19 regions, including No. 1 in five regions—Argentina, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Thailand—and entered Apple Music charts in 13 regions including Korea, China, Thailand and Singapore. In addition, Love Me More rose on iTunes top song charts in five regions—Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam and Peru—demonstrating solid commercial power.
In a live broadcast on their official YouTube channel on the day of release, Apink said, "We sincerely thank PANDA (the fandom name) for waiting for our comeback. We worked hard and prepared, so we want to show the stage as soon as possible. Let's make precious memories during this promotion, too," expressing their meaningful comeback feelings. They especially showed confidence about this 11th mini album, calling it "an album containing the memories we have built so far and Apink's unique color."
RE : LOVE, the album Apink released as an album unit for the first time in two years and nine months, is an album that unravels a story reflecting on the past 15 years and realizing the meaning of true love. Marking their 15th anniversary this year as a "long-running icon," Apink strengthened their innocent concept with the team's classic sensibility and rich narrative while also showcasing a fresh musical variation.
In the title track Love Me More, Apink offers listeners warm, healing moments with vocals that are wistful yet elegant, following a sound that blends modern and analog. The point choreography for Love Me More, revealed through the music video and a dance challenge, features a lovely gesture forming an "L" with the thumb and index finger, heightening anticipation for the main stage.
Fans' praise has continued, saying, "The sense of season and freshness is so good. It's a perfect song for Apink," "Both the lyrics and the song bring out the feeling Apink does best," and "A perfect album down to the B-sides—there's nothing to discard."
Apink will begin full-scale comeback activities through various music shows and content. They also plan to appear as a full group on the SBS variety show Running Man broadcast on the 11th to meet viewers with their unchanged chemistry.
