Miss Korea alumnus Jang Yoon Jeong revealed how she came to appear on "Hwang Shin Hye's Let's Live Together."
On the 6th a press conference was held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul for KBS1's new entertainment program "Hwang Shin Hye's Let's Live Together."
"Hwang Shin Hye's Let's Live Together" is a reality cohabitation observational variety show that, through the "living together" of single mothers who raise children alone after divorce, shares the practical concerns and hardships of mothers who are also women entertainers.
Jang Yoon Jeong is a legendary figure in the Miss Korea world, having been crowned Miss Korea in 1987 and finishing second in Miss Universe. She married in 1994 and divorced three years later; after remarrying in the early 2000s she had two daughters in the United States and lived the life of a housewife, but after her second marriage ended in 2018 she began a new life as a single mother raising two daughters. This program is Jang Yoon Jeong's first regular entertainment show and is being touted as the signal of a second heyday, and it is expected that this boarding together will fully reveal Jang Yoon Jeong's "true homemaker" charm hidden behind her elegant image.
Jang Yoon Jeong said, I think many people do not know me. What I want to show is that I was a glamorous Miss Korea, but the time I have lived as a single mother and the mother of two daughters has been very long. I strongly want to show the know-how I have lived with on this program. It is my dream to approach viewers that way.
Jang Yoon Jeong said, I was away from the entertainment industry for a long time, and the reason I came to appear was because I thought I had been hiding too much. Becoming a single mother is not something to be ashamed of, but I felt intimidated. I decided to appear because I wanted to show my two daughters a healthy, spirited mother. At first I was very worried. Hwang Shin Hye is a very famous person and Jung Ga Eun is also active, and I wondered if I could do it among them. I lost sleep worrying, but after meeting them for the first time at the first shoot I felt very comfortable. The worries of the day before felt utterly groundless, she added.
Meanwhile, KBS1's "Hwang Shin Hye's Let's Live Together" will air its first episode on the 7th at 7:40 p.m.
