Instead of explanations full of difficult terms and numbers, it plans to engagingly reveal the hidden, intimate stories in Korea's economic history through keyword-centered storytelling.
Meanwhile, Kim Gu Ra, Bong Tae Gyu, 정형석 and 이시원 were chosen as members who will lead '경제사모임', raising expectations. Kim Gu Ra, who takes on the role of 'club leader', as a representative 'economy expert' of the entertainment industry, will serve as the central pillar organizing complex economic stories into an easily understood flow, stripping away excess with his sharp perspective and blunt speaking style.
The club members and 'economic storytellers' include professional storyteller and actor Bong Tae Gyu, voice actor 정형석 of 'I Am a Natural Person', and 이시원, a graduate of Seoul National University's business administration department. The three will each present a scene from economic history from their own perspective around a single topic each episode.
With different backgrounds and interests, they are expected to come closer to viewers by explaining economic topics that once felt difficult in an easier way through three-dimensional talks of varying tones. Adding economic book columnist Namkoong Min is also expected to raise the program's completeness with interpretations that pinpoint the core and meticulous fact-checking.
