"Zzanbro" host Yoo Ji-tae revealed why he gained weight in his childhood.
On the 5th, the YouTube channel Zzanbro posted a video titled 'Sober first meeting Rhee Minjung Yoo Ji-tae | [Zzanbro EP.126]'.
That day, actor Yoo Ji-tae shared candid concerns he feels as the father of two sons. He confessed, "My eldest is a 12-year-old boy, so puberty is my biggest worry," and added, "As a father, I'm afraid that I have no reference data to rely on. I hesitate about how to respond and how to guide him in the right direction."
Hearing this, Shin Dong-yeob said, "It's good to naturally teach the importance of condoms from a young age. If you hide it too much, it becomes stranger," and revealed his educational view.
Yoo Ji-tae also opened up about his upbringing. He recalled calmly, "My father passed away early, so I lived with my mother," and said, "There were difficult times and a lot of pain while I was working in society." He added, "Those feelings fade with time. Ultimately, living in the present is important, and having projects and goals is important," conveying his attitude toward life as an actor.
He also shared memories from his modeling days. Yoo Ji-tae recalled the time he worked with Jo Dong-hyuk and said with a laugh, "Back then only two people modeled underwear. It was pink underwear and a T-back; I wore the pink first and tossed it to Dong-hyuk."
He also mentioned a harrowing experience from his childhood. Yoo Ji-tae revealed, "When I was young I was misprescribed treatment for a skin disease and took steroids excessively," and "As a result, my body grew rapidly and I reached 65kg." The cast members could not hide their surprise at the side effects caused by the doctor's misdiagnosis.
Meanwhile, in the broadcast Yoo Ji-tae elicited deep sympathy by honestly discussing his responsibilities as a father, his philosophy as an actor, and the wounds and growth process of Yoo Ji-tae as a person.
