WAKER presents a new release with the completeness of a full-length album.
The group WAKER (WAKER, Goh Hyun·Kwon Hyup·Lee Jun·Rio·Saebyeol·Sebum) released a highlight medley video of their third mini album In Elixir: Spellbound on their official social media at 12 a.m. on the 6th.
The released video contained highlight audio for a total of nine tracks, including the title track LiKE THAT, capturing the ears of global fans. It opened cheerfully with the first track "11:59," and then the title track LiKE THAT, which addictively expresses the dizzying heartbeat of love, played and reversed the mood.
The other tracks are also dazzling. They show WAKER's wide musical spectrum with synth-pop "Lucid Dream," dubstep-based "Revive" with intense beats and energetic vocals, and the lively dance track "10 outta 10," among others.
The album's latter half also boasts flawless completion. It closes with "Saebyeol," which blends lyrical melodies and the members' sweet vocals, disco-pop "Feeling," the strikingly rhythmic "Sugar Crush," and the intense hip-hop sound of "Drop Out," raising music fans' expectations.
Through this highlight medley, WAKER foreshadowed musical maturity by evenly capturing the excitement, confusion, pain and growth of young people experiencing the emotion of "love" for the first time. Attention is also focused on WAKER's powerful dance and live performances that will be showcased with this new release.
