BTS will return with a full-length album on March 20.
BTS announced the release of their fifth full-length album at 12 a.m. on the 5th via the global superfans platform Weverse. The new record will be released at 1 p.m. on March 20 (Korean time). This album is the group's first full-group new record in 3 years and 9 months since the anthology album "Proof" released in June 2020. As a full-length album, it is their first in 6 years and 1 month since "MAP OF THE SOUL : 7" released in February 2022.
The new record contains a total of 14 tracks. True to a group that has consistently expressed their thoughts through music since debut, they put great care into capturing "the current BTS" this time as well. They focused on album production in the second half of 2025, reflecting each member's thoughts in the music while shaping the album's direction together.
Each track is deeply imbued with the emotions and concerns they felt on their journey. You can also feel their gratitude toward ARMY (ARMY, the fandom name), who have long awaited full-group activities. The stories contained in every song are BTS's narrative and a message to the fans who have stood by them without change.
BTS raised interest in their upcoming activities by announcing they will preview a notice about world tour dates at 12 a.m. on the 14th. It will be a large-scale tour held about four years after the conclusion of BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE in Las Vegas, U.S., in April 2022. Simply announcing the album release date and previewing the tour notice has quickly focused global music fans' attention.
Meanwhile, BTS launched a new official website (2026bts.com) as part of their comeback promotion. Information about the new record and the world tour will be sequentially updated on the website.
