Actor Rhee Minjung opened up about her candid connection with Shin Dong-yeob on a broadcast.
On the 5th, the YouTube content Zzanbro EP.126 was released with a video titled "Meeting Rhee Minjung and Yoo Ji-tae sober for the first time." On that broadcast, Rhee Minjung and actor Yoo Ji-tae appeared and displayed lively banter.
Rhee Minjung said, "This is the first time I've seen Shin Dong-yeob sober and neat. I never saw him properly before," which drew laughter, and Shin Dong-yeob also acknowledged this, adding to the atmosphere.
Rhee Minjung went on to mention her connection with Shin Dong-yeob's wife, recalling, "We once drank together as couples. He likes funny things, and his karaoke behavior was exactly like mine. I thought, 'Ah, everyone in that family plays the same way,'" she recalled.
In particular, when Shin Dong-yeob mentioned that there was a karaoke room at Rhee Minjung's family home, Rhee Minjung revealed, "Shin Dong-yeob slept there with a sock in his mouth," which made the studio burst into laughter. In response, Shin Dong-yeob joked, "At Rhee Minjung and Lee Byung-hun's wedding, Kim Bum Soo and Park Jung-hyun sang celebratory songs, and afterwards we were invited to the family home and drank and played a lot in the karaoke room," adding, "Seeing the two of them sing in front of me made me so happy. The person who had a sock in his mouth was probably Lee Byung-hun."
Rhee Minjung also revealed an amusing anecdote related to her husband, Lee Byung-hun. She began, "After the wrap party for 'Mr. Sunshine,' my brother came back and suddenly vomited a lot."
She continued, "Because there were many scenes in which he was stabbed with a knife in the drama, I wondered, 'Did he come in after being stabbed?' and his face went pale, so I ran toward him calling, 'oppa, oppa,' but it turned out he was vomiting into the toilet," which provoked uproarious laughter. She added, "When I asked if he was okay, I finally heard a sound confirming he was alive," and "When I checked his stomach it was fine, but he said, 'I feel like I'm going to die.'"
With candid behind-the-scenes stories spanning drinking parties, family, and post-production celebrations, viewers responded with, "Rhee Minjung's storytelling is crazy," "Imagining Lee Byung-hun makes it even funnier," and "A really relaxed talk," showing strong interest.
