Kim Da-hyun expressed a special feeling as an actress rather than a singer.
On the 3rd at 5 p.m. at Yongsan CGV in Seoul, attending the special preview of the film "Firenze," Kim Da-hyun pointed to actor Kim Min-jong, who stood with her on the greeting stage, and expressed her gratitude.
"He is the first person in my life whom I called 'dad,'" she said, "Senior Kim Min-jong, no, my father would kindly explain acting and emotions and praise me a lot during script readings and filming, so I was able to finish the shoot well," recalling memories from the time of filming.
She continued, "I watched the preview today with a fluttering heart, and I felt that I myself had worked hard on my acting," and added, "If given the opportunity in the future, I would like to continue challenging myself in acting," expressing her determination. Kim Min-jong, who plays Seok-in, the protagonist of the film "Firenze," encouraged her, saying, "Kim Da-hyun has the qualities to succeed not only as a singer but also as an actress," creating a warm atmosphere.
The film "Firenze" (directed by Lee Chang-yeol) is a road movie that blends lyricism and narrative as Seok-in, who has lost his direction in life while suffering from forced resignation and lethargy, travels to Florence, Italy, and encounters his former lover Yoo-jung (Ye Ji-won). Kim Da-hyun was cast as Kim Min-jong's daughter in the film, drawing much attention from the time of casting.
Through a New Year greeting to fans, Kim Da-hyun said, "I think 2026 will be a very busy year," and announced her future plans, adding, "Besides this film, I will hold a solo nationwide tour concert titled "Dream," 12 years after I entered music."
The nationwide solo tour concert "Dream" will begin on March 7 at Kyung Hee University Peace Hall, followed by March 14 at Busan KBS Hall and March 28 at Yeungnam University Cheonma Art Center in Daegu, continuing a relay of performances.
Kim Da-hyun promised fans, "Please watch the film "Firenze," which opens on Jan. 7, first, and I will have a joyful meeting with you through the nationwide solo tour concert starting March 7."
