"Inkigayo" completed a new MC lineup.
Ihyun, leader of P NATION's first girl group Baby DONT Cry, will join SBS "Inkigayo" as a new MC. Ihyun will lead the program in a three-MC system alongside existing MCs TWS Shin Yu and &TEAM Eju.
Ihyun is an artist who leads the team as its center with solid vocal skills and stage presence, and she is also drawing attention as the visual center. She first made her presence known early by appearing on SBS' "Fantastic Duo" as the "little IU," and she debuted as leader of Baby DONT Cry in June 2024, leaving a strong impression on the public. In November last year she drew attention by showing a more mature side with the release of her second digital single "I DONT CARE."
In particular, Ihyun drew attention by showing stable hosting and sensible reactions while serving as a special MC on "Inkigayo" in July and November last year. She demonstrated steady hosting even during the live broadcasts, proving both her visuals and hosting ability, and her official joining as an MC promises even deeper activities.
On joining as an MC, Ihyun said she was "so happy and excited to be able to do the music show MC I dreamed of since before debut with 'Inkigayo'," and added that "I first appeared on TV as a child on SBS' 'Fantastic Duo,' so it feels especially meaningful to greet viewers as an MC on the same network's 'Inkigayo'." The new "SBS INKIGAYO" featuring Baby DONT Cry's Ihyun will be unveiled live on Sunday the 11th at 3:10 p.m.
