Broadcaster Park Narae has temporarily suspended broadcasting activities amid lawsuits with her former managers and the so-called 'ju-sa aunt' controversy, and about a year ago a fortune teller's analysis of her saju and physiognomy is drawing renewed attention.
Fortune teller Park Seong-jun appeared on a YouTube channel in Dec. 2024 and interpreted Park Narae's saju and physiognomy. At the time, Park Seong-jun said, "Next year (2025) things will expand and new paths will open," noting that from the second half of the year a man will come into her life, drawing attention.
He also said, "Park Narae is born with a saju that requires her to support herself, so it's not easy for her to rely on someone," and added, "The husband position will be filled by a man like a child. She has enough energy to support a man." When Park Narae asked, "I have no desire to lean on someone. Is he good-looking?" Park Seong-jun replied, "The face looks somewhat disorderly," prompting laughter.
When Park Narae asked, "How can I find stability?" Park Seong-jun said, "She looks more scatterbrained than when I saw her before. Her energy fails to cohere and is in a state of division," adding, "She has no sustained, consistent flow in anything." He also offered somewhat blunt advice: "Stop altering your face. If you change it too much, you'll have a face on which you can't read physiognomy."
In particular, he singled out "people" as something Park Narae should be careful about in 2025. Park Seong-jun said, "When meeting men, there is a high probability she will meet someone who relies on her excessively," and advised, "The first criterion for filtering a partner should be whether he is someone who intends to live by his own strength." He also said, "You should comb your hair more. The more mentally dazed you are, the better to present a neat appearance externally," adding, "Even a small improvement in appearance will improve the flow."
Those remarks were consumed at the time as moments intended to provoke laughter in an entertainment context, but they are being revisited recently in conjunction with various controversies surrounding Park Narae.
Meanwhile, Park Narae is currently under police investigation related to legal disputes with her former managers. The former managers filed criminal complaints and applied for provisional seizure, alleging power abuse, special injury, involvement in illegal medical practices, and embezzlement, and Park Narae's side has denied these as false claims and is responding with countercharges. Separately, allegations of illegal medical practices related to the 'ju-sa aunt' are also under investigation.<
