KBS2 'The boss's ears are donkey ears' where Song Eun I reveals the cap on meal expenses for artists belonging to 'Media Lab Seesaw'.
The boss's ears are donkey ears' (directed by Choi Seung-hee / hereafter 'SADANGGUI') is a self-examination program of Korea's bosses' voluntary role reversal to create workplaces worth working for. In the last episode it continued its hit record by ranking first for 186 consecutive weeks with a peak viewership rating of 7.7%. (Nielsen Korea)
Today (4th) 'SADANGGUI' features the family of Wausan Records, which includes seven artists such as Yozoh, Jang Deul-re, Park Se-jin and Kang A-sol, and Kim Yoon-joo, CEO of 'Oksang Dalbit'. Among them, CEO Kim Yoon-joo meets Jang Deul-re and Thunder Lily with Song Eun I, CEO of Media Lab Seesaw.
Song Eun I revealed, "Our company's lunch allowance is capped at 15,000 won for artists," disclosing that there is a cap on entertainers' meal expenses. Media Lab Seesaw started with four people but recently grew rapidly to 70 affiliated entertainers and staff and even has a new headquarters; it is a broadcasting content production and management company. With a solid lineup including Choi Kang-hee, Ok Ja-yeon and writer Kim Eun-hee, it surprised everyone with welfare that does not give special treatment to entertainers. Considering that recent lunch prices have risen above 10,000 won, 15,000 won is a price at which you cannot eat just anything. In response, Kim Yoon-joo said, "So entertainers also have fixed meal allowances," unable to hide her surprise.
CEO Song Eun I also revealed Media Lab Seesaw's travel benefits. "When going on trips we give exchanged foreign currency, and entertainers with 10 years of service receive rewards, vacations and vacation pay," she said, revealing exceptional welfare. However, CEO Song Eun I opened with, "But strangely ..." and added, "When they come back from trips, the staff who went with them resign," drawing laughter. In response, Kim Sook sighed, "CEO Song Eun I gets along well with employees without discrimination. It's just that the employees I like keep quitting." Song Eun I immediately said, "It's not because of me. They probably intended to quit anyway," provoking laughter over the successive resignations of employees who alone do not know the reason.
Through the main broadcast of 'SADANGGUI', the operating philosophy of the rising new force Media Lab Seesaw's CEO Song Eun I will be revealed.
