A, who exposed actor Lee Yi-kyung's lewd talk and other private life matters, announced a counterclaim, bringing the situation to a new phase.
A, who identified herself as a German woman, previewed a counterclaim against Lee Yi-kyung with her first revelation of the new year. She publicized KakaoTalk messages along with a captured photo of a voice call she said she had with Lee Yi-kyung and took the drastic step of announcing a counterclaim.
"In May, I reported that I sent capture materials related to the actor's sexually suggestive remarks and photos to the actor's agency office by email. The materials I disclosed include captures of the situation in which a voice call came from a number labeled 'Lee Yi-kyung' and Lee Yi-kyung's message saying, 'You sent an email to the office, so your personal information will all be exposed; are you okay with that? If a lawyer is retained and an investigation is carried out, it's a crime.'"
A said, "The materials include a conversation explaining that I was in a situation where I could not take calls at the time, and they also include the conversation and the date in which I captured the screen showing a voice call coming in and sent it to an acquaintance," and "In this process the actor said, 'Because you sent an email to our office, all your personal information will be exposed; are you okay with that? This is a crime that can be investigated if a lawyer is appointed.' That remark was conveyed in a threatening way, suggesting that my personal information could be exposed while excluding reference to or responsibility for the sexually harassing remarks he had previously made," she said.
She continued, "Also, after I sent the email to the agency, I became convinced the actor was the one because he contacted me first despite my not having directly mentioned the agency report to him. Afterwards the actor said, 'Now I may have to meet reporters because of you,' and 'I thought of you as a close junior, shared daily life and kept in touch for a long time, so why did you do that?' Because of these remarks and the situation, I felt psychological burden and there is a background to why I sent a correction email indicating I would withdraw my report," she explained.
A said, "The reason I cannot submit captures of the entire conversation flow is that I changed my phone afterward and the chatroom does not remain on the device I currently use," and "The authenticity of the conversation contents and materials will be confirmed during the investigation process by authorities. The attached capture materials are not manipulated, and I am reviewing and preparing the necessary complaint procedures following guidance from the embassy. I also ask that if the actor wants to establish the truth of this case, he sincerely comply with any forensic procedures that may be carried out in the future."
On Dec. 31, 2025, the last day of the year, A continued her revelations by releasing a screen she said was Lee Yi-kyung's KakaoTalk profile and photos she had received. Earlier, she released conversations with Lee Yi-kyung starting from the first direct message she sent him on Jan. 26, 2024. The content included him asking about her breast size, among other things, which shocked readers.
After winning in the 'AAA best choice' category at the 10th Asia Artist Awards 2025 at National Stadium Kaohsiung in Taiwan, Lee Yi-kyung said, "The suspect is currently sending apologies and pleas for mercy to the company's email. I will definitely catch them," showing confidence. But that confidence has been undermined as A's additional revelations continue. Especially as Lee Yi-kyung's withdrawal from entertainment shows coincides, the situation is becoming more intense.
