The group Cortis (CORTIS) has released its first "100 million-stream" song.
Cortis (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho)'s debut album intro track "GO!" surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify as of the 2nd. The song reached this milestone about four months after its release, making it the fastest K-pop boy group song released last year to hit 100 million plays. Also, among rookies who debuted in 2025, they are the only team to have a single song exceed "100 million streams." "GO!" is a track on which all members participated in songwriting, composition, choreography, and music video production, making this achievement even more special.
"GO!" quickly joined the ranks of "100 million-stream" songs, proving itself a "global hit." The song's popularity was evident at year-end special broadcasts and award ceremony stages last year. From Gocheok Sky Dome to overseas stadiums with tens of thousands of attendees, unusually large singalongs broke out.
The popularity of "GO!" is apparent on charts beyond Spotify. The song ranked on Billboard's "Global 200" for two consecutive weeks (Sept. 27 and Oct. 4, 2025). That chart ranks songs based on online streaming and digital sales compiled from more than 200 countries and territories, including the United States. It also achieved unusual results for a rookie boy group by breaking into Melon's daily, weekly, and monthly charts.
Foreign media also paid attention to "GO!." Billboard ranked it No. 2 on its "The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025: Staff Picks," making it the highest-ranked male artist on that list. In addition, British magazine NME, Dazed, Apple Music and Spotify named "GO!" one of the best K-pop songs of 2025.
Meanwhile, Cortis will attend the "40th Golden Disc Awards" held at Taipei Dome on the 10th. Attention is focused on whether they will raise another trophy following the "2025 MAMA Awards" and the "10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025."
