'Dokbakz' joined as a "travel friend" with Im Woo-il and displayed close-friend chemistry in Malaysia, delivering big laughs from the start of the new year.
In episode 31 of Channel S's "Ni Don Nae San Dokbak Tour 4" (Channel S, co-produced by SK Broadband), which aired on the 3rd, Kim Dae-hee x Kim Jun-Ho x Jang Dong-min x You Se Yoon x Hong In-kyu, who flew to Malaysia, were shown roaming Kuala Lumpur together with Im Woo-il, who stepped in as the first "travel friend" of 2026.
That day, 'Dokbakz' arrived at the "river of life," the starting point of Kuala Lumpur. Jang Dong-min explained, "These two rivers you see join in a Y shape and have become the starting point of Kuala Lumpur. The word 'Kuala Lumpur' means 'the place where two (muddy) waters meet,'" prompting admiration from everyone. Then, the trending comedian Im Woo-il made a surprise appearance. He shouted his catchphrase, "Woo-il has arrived~" while acting cute, and Hong In-kyu teased, "Are you embarrassed because you're popular these days (physical comedy)?" then asked, "How old are you?" When Im Woo-il said, "I'm 45 this year," Hong In-kyu quickly agreed, "Ah, then that's about right~," sending everyone into fits of laughter. Amid 'Dokbakz' hospitality, Im Woo-il boldly declared, "Just like Lee Sang Jun, who appeared before me, I will go without spending a single penny!"
After a subtle exchange of nerves, 'Dokbakz' and Im Woo-il headed to a local favorite restaurant strongly recommended by You Se Yoon. At the restaurant, Im Woo-il, looking at the menu, revealed his "cheapskate" side, saying, "I usually watch 'Dokbak Tour' a lot, and you always order way too much food." Then, foodie Kim Jun-Ho snapped back, "We came all the way overseas, so we should order generously!" Kim Dae-hee retorted, "You order a lot not just abroad but at home too~," making Kim Jun-Ho feel sheepish. In their bickering chemistry, they ordered pho, fried rice, egg tarts and launched into a feast, then played the 'Dokbak game' for breakfast and day one transportation expenses.
After leaving the restaurant and walking along a quiet street, Kim Jun-Ho said, "Shall we play a game like 'Family Entertainment Center'?" Hong In-kyu responded, "Then let's play the 'telepathy game'!" Actually, 'Dokbakz' had prearranged a "set-up operation" to saddle Im Woo-il with the Dokbak, so Im Woo-il fell for it willingly; although he later sensed something suspicious, he became the first Dokbak victim. Im Woo-il proudly announced, "But I don't have a single penny," revealing that, like Lee Sang Jun, he came without exchanging money, dreaming of being "free of Dok" and Kim Jun-Ho said, "I'll lend you money. For my image, I can do that~," staging a charitable loan for the junior and causing great laughter.
They then headed to the large Kuala Lumpur shopping center "Central Market." At the market entrance, Hong In-kyu suggested, "Let's buy some fun clothes here and wear them for a night market tour tonight~." With everyone agreeing, the six split into pairs to shop for clothes. At that time, Jang Dong-min bought a shocking, belly-dancer outfit so sheer the underwear showed and cheerfully said, "Anyway, I'm not going to wear it, so it's fine~." The other members also bought daring items like see-through dresses, turning it into a wild party. After shopping, they played the 'shopping expense betting' Dokbak game using a tape measure Im Woo-il had brought. Hong In-kyu came in last here. From the first trip of the new year, he became the first among 'Dokbakz' to accumulate one Dok, and he lamented, "Suddenly I remember the 'banana man' makeup punishment we did in Malaysia before," expressing distress. Jang Dong-min raised tensions by saying, "Then shall we do the punishment we did back then again? 'Banana man returns'~"
With interest focused on who would become the 'banana man' this time, 'Dokbakz' and Im Woo-il moved to the luxury accommodation reserved by You Se Yoon. Impressed by the modern detached lodging, they cheered, "Does each room have a bathroom?" and then split into teams of three to begin 'carrier curling' to choose sleeping arrangements. In a close match between Kim Jun-Ho and Hong In-kyu, Kim Jun-Ho became the Dokbak victim. Meanwhile, You Se Yoon, who ranked first with outstanding skill, enjoyed the privilege of choosing his outfit first. He grabbed attention with a low-rise fashion that gave off Y2K vibes, Hong In-kyu emphasized elegance with a glittery dress, and Kim Dae-hee highlighted sexiness(?) with a see-through dress. On the other hand, Jang Dong-min ended up wearing the belly-dance outfit he had chosen, devastating the scene.
Finally, Kim Jun-Ho, who is enjoying newlywed life with Kim Ji-min, boldly exposed himself in a palm-sized bikini top–like garment and complained, "I think I might be arrested for a minor offense (?) (by the police). It's been a long time since I felt this embarrassed," expressing a reality check. With daring fashion, 'Dokbakz' went on a night tour again and visited the Petronas Twin Towers, the Kuala Lumpur landmark and the world's tallest twin towers. Afterwards, they left an unforgettable memory by taking commemorative photos against the fantastic night view.
