Tsuki from "Extreme 84" was injured while running.
In episode 6 of MBC variety show "Extreme 84," which aired on the 4th, the Extreme Crew began full-scale preparations ahead of their final challenge, the Arctic Marathon.
That day, while on a fun run, Tsuki was running smoothly even after passing the half 21km mark but twisted her right foot after stepping on a large rock.
From that point the pain began, and Tsuki said, "Wow, leg legend. I wish my legs would cooperate a bit," and started running with difficulty. In a subsequent interview, Tsuki said, "My leg was completely done at the 20km point. From then on the remaining 20km was hell. It felt like everything was totally gone."
Tsuki, thinking it would be harder if she stopped, ran without smiling and eventually stopped at a chateau she visited to regroup. Despite the persistent pain, Tsuki said, "I steeled my mind and controlled my breathing," and pressed on without giving up.
Tsuki said, "At first it was happy tears when it started a little. In the latter part it was like, 'Come on, Tsuki. You have to finish. This is frustrating,'" and added, "At this rate I might not be able to finish. Please, leg, just hold on a little longer," showing tears of frustration. Lee Eunji empathized, saying, "When your mind gets impatient, your body moves even less."
