Running Man's Jee Seokjin and Kim Jong Kook showed off their bickering chemistry from the new year.
On the Jan. 4 broadcast, SBS's Running Man was presented as a New Year special. To mark 2026, the year of the red horse, the "follow the horse, bingo conquest" Race was held.
On the day, the members took on a "find places related to horses" mission. However, the members had to sit in the seats assigned by the production team and rely only on English navigation to arrive within the 30-minute time limit.
With Yang Se-chan driving and HaHa assisting, a situation arose where they strayed from the route after misunderstanding the navigation. On top of that, traffic congestion made things worse, and Jee Seokjin suggested, "If we wait for the left-turn lane, it will be hard; how about going straight and making a U-turn?"
Kim Jong Kook countered, "We can get the signal twice," and Yu Jae-seok also urged, "Don't rush." Then Kim Jong Kook again criticized Jee Seokjin's opinion, saying, "Going straight and making a U-turn was really a bad idea."
Jee Seokjin said, "What if the signal here is short?" and Kim Jong Kook, frustrated, replied, "I go here every day." Hearing this, Jee Seokjin snapped, "Why are you shouting, you brat! Want me to hit you?" which provoked laughter.
Kim Jong Kook explained, "Even if I speak nicely, you don't listen, hyung," and Yang Se-chan, who was driving, shook his head and said, "The household runs well."
Watching this, Yu Jae-seok worried instead, "This guy should get hit once and hyung...," and Jee Seokjin agreed, laughing, "I know, I also have to send him in one blow." Kim Jong Kook expressed confidence, saying, "I travel this road every week. Going home and back every week. I always take this road when I go to my house."
