Claims have emerged that Victoria Jones, daughter of Hollywood actor Tommy Lee Jones (Tommy Lee Jones), known for films such as the Fugitive, No Country for Old Men and Men in Black, used cocaine before her death, shocking many.
U.S. outlet Page Six on the 3rd (local time), citing TMZ, reported that "Victoria Jones was seen using cocaine before her death." According to the report, a witness told rescuers who responded to the scene that "Victoria was using cocaine just before she died."
TMZ, citing law enforcement sources, reported that "when responders arrived at the scene, Victoria's lips and fingernails had turned blue, raising suspicions of a possible overdose." Victoria was found unconscious in a 14th-floor room of the luxury Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco in the early hours of the 2nd.
At the time, Victoria was reportedly staying at the hotel with three to four acquaintances to welcome the new year. Witnesses and hotel guests attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and paramedics continued life-saving measures at the scene, but she was ultimately pronounced dead.
However, no official cause of death has been released so far. The San Francisco police said, "There is no evidence of suicide or homicide, and no drug paraphernalia was found at the scene." The investigation is ongoing.
In this regard, Tommy Lee Jones and his family said in a statement, "We appreciate the many condolences and prayers. We ask that our privacy be respected during this difficult time." The statement was released in the name of "the family of Victoria Kafka Jones."
Meanwhile, the Fairmont Hotel, where the incident occurred, said, "We are deeply saddened by the incident that occurred at the hotel on Jan. 1," and added, "We extend our sincere condolences to the bereaved family and are cooperating fully with the investigating authorities."
Victoria Jones was 34. Living a relatively quiet life apart from her father's fame, her sudden death has sent shock waves through Hollywood and beyond. Attention is focused on the official autopsy results and the exact cause of death.<
