Takuya from 'Non-Summit' appeared as the new "Mr. House Husband."
On the March 3 broadcast of KBS2 Mr. House Husband season 2 (hereafter Mr. House Husband), Japanese national Takuya appeared as the new "Mr. House Husband."
The new "Mr. House Husband"'s mother described her son as a superstar and boasted, "BTS, Hyunbin, more popular than Bae Yong-joon," she bragged. It turned out the new face of "Mr. House Husband" was Takuya, a Japanese national who appeared on "Non-Summit." Takuya revealed, "It was a team called 'Cross Gene'. I was an idol," but no one knew.
Takuya also appeared in the "Mr. House Husband" studio. Park Seo-jin showed a wary reaction to Takuya's arrival, saying, "He's handsome and his pronunciation is better than mine." Eun Ji-won mentioned the mother's introduction, saying, "I had high expectations, but the mother's introduction was (too much)," and Takuya explained, "I have never lied to my family."
Takuya went out to the Hongdae streets to check his recognition in Korea. But even after a long time, no one recognized Takuya. Takuya candidly said, "I wanted to run away. It was embarrassing. The disappointment people had in me was big. My mentality collapsed a lot. There were moments when I felt diminished."
Takuya said he has lived in Korea for 15, 16 years. He said that after giving up idol activities he has worked as a model and actor. But the unfortunate reality is that no one recognizes him. Takuya showed his disappointment, saying, "Isn't it a profession that receives attention? I think even malicious comments are a form of attention. Right now I'm close to having no comments. I would be happy even to get malicious comments."
Afterward, Takuya headed to his hometown in Japan. He said he missed his family and went home for the first time in two years. Takuya explained that he would reveal his home and family for the first time through Mr. House Husband. Everyone in Takuya's family was delighted by his arrival.<
