"To My Beloved Thief" detective(?) Moon Sang Min begins a romantic investigation toward thief Nam Ji-hyun.
Today (3rd) at 9:20 p.m. the first episode of the new KBS 2TV Saturday-Sunday miniseries "To My Beloved Thief" (written by Lee Seon, directed by Ham Younggeol) will air, and in episode 1 Dowoldaegun I-yeol (played by Moon Sang Min) traces the trail of the much-rumored Gil-dong Hong Eun-jo (played by Nam Ji-hyun).
I-yeol, the king's half brother, lives hiding not only his royal identity but also his innate intelligence to protect his people. What I-yeol enjoys most is helping the officials at Pocheong; whenever he hears that a case has fallen into a "maze," he appears and naturally joins the investigation.
I-yeol's ability to pinpoint the clues to various cases and provide decisive leads for capturing suspects naturally makes Pocheong's investigations revolve around him. Because of I-yeol's efforts, the previously abstract physical description of Gil-dong raises curiosity about whether it will gradually resemble Hong Eun-jo's appearance.
The released photos capture I-yeol as if fate has compelled him to hear the thief Gil-dong's story, drawing attention. While I-yeol's gaze shows interest as if he "cannot just pass by," Podocheong official Kang Yun-bok (played by Moon Tae-yu) cannot hide his surprise at I-yeol's unexpected arrival.
I-yeol's passionate deduction after hearing the whole story from Kang Yun-bok raises further curiosity. I-yeol's confidence and sense of pride, combined with Podocheong official Kang Yun-bok and I-yeol's bodyguard Dae-chu (played by Lee Seung-woo) concentrating, heighten questions about what claim I-yeol will make regarding Gil-dong.
"To My Beloved Thief" tells a dangerous and great romance about a woman who accidentally became the world's greatest thief and the royal general who chased her; their souls swap, they save each other, and ultimately protect the people.
