"Zootopia 2" added yet another meaningful record. According to the Korea Integrated Film Ticketing System, as of 6:21 p.m. today (the 3rd), its 39th day since release, cumulative attendance exceeded 8,000,365.
With this, "Zootopia 2" surpassed "Elemental," which drew 7,240,000 viewers in 2023, and rose to fourth place among all-time domestic animated box office hits.
In particular, it reached 8 million viewers one day faster than "Inside Out 2," which drew 8,790,000 viewers, raising expectations further for its future box office trend.
"Zootopia 2" also surpassed $1,468,000,000 in cumulative global box office revenue (about 2.115 trillion won), overtaking "Frozen 2," which earned $1,453,000,000, to become the highest-grossing Disney animated film ever, continuing a worldwide box office phenomenon.
