Singer Baek Z Young's daughter Haim said she would not reveal her face, and Jung Seok-won expressed his difficulties.
On the 3rd, a new video was released on Baek Z Young's YouTube channel titled "From the first day of the new year, teasing 50-year-old Baek Z Young while cooking: Jung Seok-won and daughter Haim."
On that day, Baek Z Young and Jung Seok-won, the couple, welcomed the new year with their daughter Haim and attempted to make tteokguk. This year Baek Z Young said she has become "jicheonmyeong."
Jung Seok-won asked, "What is jicheonmyeong? What is it—explain the hanja for jicheonmyeong. Is it the land character ji and the sky character cheon?" and the producer explained, "It is the knowledge of al." Hearing this, Baek Z Young said, "Ah, so it means knowing the heavens." Jung Seok-won said, "Oh, you call 50 jicheonmyeong? They call 40 something else, right?" and Baek Z Young explained, "Bulhok. Not shaken by temptation."
While talking, Jung Seok-won said, "My actual birthday is Jan. 16. But my family registry was reported late, so it shows May 16. When I was dating my wife, I tried somehow to reduce the nine-year age gap to eight years."
Jung Seok-won continued, "I was happy to say that, and this person was also early by calendar," and Baek Z Young added, "I was originally born in March, but my father wanted me to start school at age seven and registered my birth by the lunar calendar." Jung Seok-won added, "So we're an inevitable nine."
After they finished cooking in earnest, the three revealed their new year resolutions before eating. Baek Z Young said, "To mark becoming jicheonmyeong this year, I'll speak. Happy new year, and first, health; second, not putting off things that must be done; and third, laughing more this year." Daughter Haim reacted, "Laugh more here?" which drew a cute response.
Baek Z Young asked her daughter, "What do you think YouTube is like?" and Haim replied, "It's embarrassing." Hearing the answer, Baek Z Young asked, "From your perspective? Then why do you come out so often?"
Daughter Haim said she feels embarrassed but that it's fun, and Baek Z Young asked, "Do you want to open your face?" Haim said, "It seems difficult. I'm tired. Mom told me so," and Baek Z Young explained, "Right. As soon as you open your face, people say, 'Oh my, you're really Baek Z Young's daughter, you're Jung Seok-won's daughter.' You won't be called Jeong Haim anymore."
Jung Seok-won chimed in, "To explain that your name disappears, my name disappeared too. 'Oh, Baek Z Young's husband?' 'Oh, Baek Z Young's husband? It's Jeong Won-seok,' 'It's Jeong Seok-hyeon.' This is what it means for the name the mother uses to disappear."
Then Jung Seok-won said, "Then your name disappears and you can be called Baek Z Young's daughter. Mom's power is really strong," and the producer asked, "Do you feel a little hurt by that?" Jung Seok-won replied, "I used to be conscious of that, but now it's an honor. As the husband of our top star jicheonmyeong, now I'm very proud," which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, Jung Seok-won married singer Baek Z Young, who is nine years older, in 2013. The couple have one daughter.
