Cheerleader Jordan Hudson made clear she intends to confront the trolls criticizing her relationship with famous football coach Bill Belichick with the same attitude in 2026.
The 24-year-old cheerleader Hudson reposted a New Year's Eve 2024 party photo to her Instagram story last Thursday, targeting the trolls. The photo showed Hudson and the 73-year-old famous football coach Belichick clinking champagne glasses.
Above the photo, Hudson wrote, 2024 only changed one thing for us — "the fact that it's public" — but everything changed.
She added, "fourth year, still standing strong. I'm ready and willing to take it for you in 2026 as well. Keep coming at me, keyboard warriors. Your fake sense of righteousness only makes my authenticity stronger."
The two actually had a year of mixed fortunes that drew attention. In April last year, Hudson unexpectedly interrupted a question about how the two met during a CBS 'Sunday Morning' interview featuring Belichick, sparking major controversy. The scene created a big stir, and later Belichick issued a statement saying, "I share a personal and professional relationship with Hudson," defending her actions and further fueling questions about their relationship.
The following month, Hudson was again under scrutiny after reports emerged that she was being effectively "ostracized" in Nantucket's social scene in Massachusetts. The area is known to still be heavily influenced by Belichick's ex, Linda Holliday.
A Nantucket socialite told reporters, "His ex Linda controls charity and society, and Hudson wants to get deeper into that world."
Another source said, "People in Nantucket are quite sophisticated. If Hudson walks into Galli Beach restaurant, 90% of the patrons will roll their eyes," adding, "no one will welcome her with open arms."
Around that time, engagement rumors surfaced after Hudson reportedly told close acquaintances she planned to marry Belichick.
Nevertheless, the two continued their relationship despite Hudson's somewhat risky business moves. In August, they were spotted on a date wearing matching white outfits akin to couple looks.
In September, Hudson publicly showed support for Belichick by cheering for North Carolina Tar Heels at the season opener against TCU Horned Frogs.
Hudson stayed by Belichick's side throughout the season, but in November reports said an awkward atmosphere was created when Belichick's daughter-in-law Jennifer appeared to avoid the young companion at the stadium.
But at the end of the same month, Belichick returned the affection by attending Hudson's cheerleading competition in person to cheer her on.
