Oh Seung-hwan, who appears on 'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3,' expressed real-world concerns after his cumulative salary was revealed.
The 12th episode, broadcast Friday the 2nd, of the full-on real street food documentary 'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3' (MBN·Channel S·SK Broadband co-production) showed Jun Hyun-moo, Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) and their first city of 2026, Daegu, spending a day sweeping through the favorite restaurants of Daegu-savvy food friends Oh Seung-hwan and Won Tae-in. They introduced Daegu's "hidden menu" black cod stew, Oh Seung-hwan's 15-year favorite pork stew restaurant, and the 'Won Tae-in plan' premium Korean beef, known as hanwoo restaurant, and paired these with candid life stories that warmed viewers' hearts.
That day Kwak Tube welcomed the Daegu food trip, saying, "I've become Daegu's son-in-law." Jun Hyun-moo smiled wryly and added, "Today is the day Kwak Tube finds a restaurant to take his father- and mother-in-law to," giving the food trip a pretext (?). Afterwards the two headed to the black cod stew restaurant introduced as the 'midlife restaurant cartel.' There the "food bro" ordered the black cod stew made from mero, called the "ribeye of fish," and they displayed a delightful eating show, marveling at the savory flavor and creamy texture.
After the meal, Jun Hyun-moo introduced Oh Seung-hwan and Won Tae-in, saying, "Today's food friends are Daegu's superstars!" Then he said, "This is something even the production team doesn't know~" and surprised them by revealing a baseball uniform he had on under his outerwear. Bursting with the 'baseball fan success' image, Jun Hyun-moo, upon meeting the 'food friend,' declared the 'Oh Seung-hwan plan.' Oh Seung-hwan led the three to the pork stew restaurant he used to frequent. At that time Jun Hyun-moo revealed his fan admiration by asking for an autograph on the uniform, and when the "stone Buddha" Oh Seung-hwan repeatedly smiled, he said, "He has such a pleasant face. It's like he's with someone else," and beamed with happiness.
Seated in the restaurant, Jun Hyun-moo asked, "Do you have any episodes about this place?" Oh Seung-hwan replied, "When I was in the second team, I used to drink here during the day. It's the place where my wife and friends and I came to soothe our pain," and he soaked in the memories of those days. Won Tae-in also confessed, "When I was a rookie, I stopped by this restaurant on the way to the dormitory after a game with my father." Won Tae-in also mentioned a unique "baseball DNA," saying, "When I was in middle school, my father was the baseball team manager and my older brother was a coach," surprising everyone. While baseball talk was in full swing, the restaurant's 'kick' pork stew, loaded with crushed garlic, was completed, and Kwak Tube likened it perfectly, saying, "It feels like stir-fried pork made into a stew!" confirming it as 'men's soul food.'
During the eating show, Jun Hyun-moo asked an AI, "I'm curious about Oh Seung-hwan's cumulative salary." The AI replied, "about 28.8 billion won," and a startled Oh Seung-hwan said, "When my salary became known I got many calls asking to borrow money, so it was hard. I went through what others go through, I went through it too," evoking a bittersweet laugh. Jun Hyun-moo poured a consoling shot of soju, and Oh Seung-hwan revealed mixed emotions, saying, "It feels like receiving a retirement drink." He confessed, "It's already been three months since I retired and I still don't feel it. In the end I got a lot of criticism. I worked to the end because I wanted to be applauded by those people one more time." Jun Hyun-moo patted him, saying, "Our Seunghwa~ you worked hard, kid~."
After the warm meal ended, Jun Hyun-moo raised the mood again, saying, "Next is the 'Won Tae-in plan'!" Won Tae-in said, "I'm confident like a closer like Oh Seung-hwan," and headed to a premium Korean beef, known as hanwoo restaurant. There the four were genuinely impressed by the hanwoo the owner grilled with a torch, saying, "This is real juice!" During the hanwoo eating show, Jun Hyun-moo spontaneously held an 'apple grip strength test,' asking, "Is grip strength important for pitchers?" While Won Tae-in easily succeeded, Oh Seung-hwan split the apple with only his thumb strength, astonishing everyone. By contrast, Jun Hyun-moo, who was straining, only slightly cracked the lid as if clawing it, sending the scene into laughter.
Finally, after clearing the soybean paste stew that Won Tae-in introduced as the 'kick,' Kwak Tube expressed satisfaction, saying, "I should bring my father- and mother-in-law to this restaurant," which mildly disappointed Oh Seung-hwan. Realizing his 'oops' moment, Kwak Tube tried to recover, saying, "For dates with my wife, a casual feeling at the 'Oh Seung-hwan plan' pork stew restaurant would be nice," making everyone burst out laughing. In the end Won Tae-in energetically delivered a fierce three-line poem in the name of his nemesis 'Park Dong-won,' saying, "I'll smash you this year, Dong-won hyung, Won Tae-in!" and wrapped up the day's food trip pleasantly. In the following teaser, Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube's food trip returning to the "Live Up to Your Name gourmet city" Busan was captured, raising anticipation for the next broadcast.
