Comedian Hong Hyun-hee denied allegations of using Wegovy and confessed she is planning for a second child.
On the 2nd, a video titled "angry Hyun-hee" was posted on the YouTube channel Hong Hyun-hee Jasson's Hong-sseun TV.
Recently Hong Hyun-hee, who drew attention for losing 10kg, had revealed on the channel that she managed her diet and figure through intermittent fasting and shared the secret.
However, some comments poured out allegations of "Wegovy, Mounjaro." In response, Hong Hyun-hee said, "This is the first time I've felt accomplished in my life, so of course I appreciate the supportive comments. But honestly, how should I put it, I'm really upset right now, and I didn't lose weight to show those people anything, I just managed my health," she said, rebutting the claims.
She continued, "That's when I blew my top. After I lost weight, people suggested I become a diet model or product model. But I refused all of them. Why? Because I didn't lose it by taking something; I lost it with my own routine. I've failed before. I had too much work, and it was hard to cover everything, so I just posted it like that," she said, expressing her frustration.
Jasson also said, "Wegovy, Mounjaro—honestly, they're not illegal, are they? If we had taken them, we would have said so. So many people are getting them these days, but no," expressing anger at baseless malicious comments.
Also, Hong Hyun-hee said, "I brazenly did it for the baby and for my health, and candidly I think the reason I've been loved until now is because of my sincerity," she said.
She added, "I failed for a year and then fixed my eating habits and did it that way," and said in resignation, "That's enough — you can watch me until I'm 80; if it were a drug, there would probably be a rebound in the middle."
Meanwhile, Hong Hyun-hee confessed she refused diet drugs because "she is planning for a second child." She said, "The reason I managed my body more and didn't rely on such drugs is because we are thinking about a second child. Because of my age, we kept worrying about it," she said.
Hong Hyun-hee said, "But if you're older, would drugs be enough to try as quickly as possible physically?" and added, "This isn't just thinking about my body; if I think about my child as well, I don't think I could easily rely on such drugs. That's a mother's heart," she said.
