Boom and Kim Jaewon left a strong impression while appearing together on last year's broadcast of the KBS 2TV entertainment program Heart on Wheels. According to the production team, their appearance on 2 Days & 1 Night came about based on an acquaintance made at the afterparty held immediately after the 2025 KBS Entertainment Awards ceremony. At the time, when Boom and Kim Jaewon, who had briefly dropped by the 2 Days & 1 Night team's dinner, were invited by the members to "come visit our recording sometime," the two readily accepted and the guest appearances were arranged at once.
