'Spring Fever' evokes the fresh romance of school days.
The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama Spring Fever, scheduled to premiere on the 5th (directed by Park Won-guk, written by Kim A-jung), is a hot! pink romance of spring days that will thaw the frozen hearts of teacher Yoon Bom (Lee Joo-been) — who feels the cold wind blowing — and the man with a burning heart, Seon Jae-gyu (Ahn Bo-hyun).
Spring Fever raises expectations even higher as the reliable hit actors Ahn Bo-hyun and Lee Joo-been join forces with director Park Won-guk of Marry My Husband, which recorded the highest ratings in the history of tvN Monday-Tuesday dramas. The unique hot-pink romance the two leads will create, as well as the coming-of-age stories of high school students, are expected to captivate living rooms with their varied charms.
The narrative drawn by Shinsoo High's unshakable top student Han Gyeol (Jo Junyoung) and the ill-fated second place Choi Se-jin (Lee Jaein) is expected to evoke fresh excitement. With Se-jin as the only anti-fan who disapproves of Han Gyeol, Han Gyeol, unaware of that fact, wants to see Se-jin's smiling face, and his tender devotion completes the youthful romance. In particular, the visual pairing of Han Gyeol and Se-jin, which will warm viewers' hearts, is another point of excitement.
Next, Seo Hye-sook's (Jin Kyung) twin sons Kim Dae-han (Ahn Sang-jin) and Kim Min-guk (Choi In-woo) add vitality to the drama with their buoyant charm. Oh Dong-pyo (Lee Jae-moo) appears as Jae-gyu's rare ally in Sinsu-eup and a student who hangs around with Han Gyeol and the older boys. Their playful chemistry full of mischief is sure to make viewers smile.
They each add rich storylines to Spring Fever by portraying small incidents and friendships from school days with different personalities and charms. The playful give-and-take, or "tikitaka," between homeroom teacher Yoon Bom and her students and the naturally growing stories of Shinsoo High students are also expected to deliver warm smiles to viewers.
