On the 31st of last month, the person in charge of the YouTube channel 'ImjjangTV' said through a channel post, "Currently many YouTube channels are downloading ImjjangTV's videos without permission, reediting them and increasing their view counts. This is an infringement of Imjjang's portrait rights and content copyrights and could lead to a serious situation," they said.
They added, "We ask subscribers for a favor. If you see such channels, please capture the image and send it by email. We would also like to inform the operators of those channels that if the situation continues we will take necessary measures."
The person in charge added, "Creating content consumes a lot of time and energy. We hope you will not take Imjjang and the production team's efforts lightly."
Afterward, the person in charge of 'ImjjangTV' posted again on the 2nd, saying, "You have sent more than 200 reports of channels that download and reedit Im Seong-geun ImjjangTV's content without permission. We bow our heads in thanks for subscribers' efforts and attention," they said.
The person in charge also said, "There are channels that have taken inaccurate information about ImjjangTV channel operations, spliced it together and uploaded shorts, so please do not misunderstand. Just listen to and trust the information that comes from ImjjangTV. If people around you know distorted information, please correct it immediately."
