One Hundred spoke out about reports of unpaid settlement payments to its signed artists.
On the 2nd, One Hundred said in an official press release, "The 'unsettled' issue mentioned in the article is a matter that is currently being properly negotiated and adjusted according to each artist's contract terms and activity status," it said.
Earlier that day, one media outlet reported that The Boyz, who are signed to One Hundred, as well as Taemin of Big Planet Made and EXO-CBX of INB100 are currently owed settlement amounts reaching 1 billion won each or far exceeding that amount.
Regarding this, One Hundred said, "The article is not factual, and it is very regrettable that it was reported without fact-checking and without giving us the right to respond," and added, "Our signed artists and employees have no conflicts with the company and are working hard. Chairman Cha Ga-won is also doing his best to support the artists at their side."
Meanwhile, One Hundred Label is a company founded by MC MONG together with Cha Ga-won, chairman of p_Arc Group, and it houses The Boyz and Kim Dae-ho. It is the parent company of Big Planet Made Entertainment, which includes singer and actor Lee Seung Gi, comedian Lee Sugeun, Ha Sung-woon, Lee Mu-jin, VV and others, and INB100, which includes EXO's Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin.
