Actor Han Go-eun explained about drinking seven bottles of soju at a company dinner.
Han Go-eun posted a video titled "First reveal of Han Go-eun's secretly stashed favorite pasta restaurant (+ the biggest life crisis story)" on her YouTube channel 'Goeun unnie Han Go-eun' on the 1st.
In the video, she mentioned that it had become a topic that she drank seven bottles of soju in one day. Han Go-eun said, "I didn't force myself to drink that on purpose." Han Go-eun's husband said, "The article said I drank seven bottles of soju at the director's suggestion and was bedridden for three days."
Han Go-eun explained, "It wasn't that I was forced to drink; the drama was doing well then. It did well, so didn't we suffer a lot? Of course I wasn't the lead, but I was close with the staff, so didn't everyone give a drink to say thanks? Usually the staff number 80 to 100."
She added, "If you narrow it down to those who were close, it's about 40 people. Since each of those people gave me a shot of soju, one bottle of soju makes seven shots. Then wouldn't that make 49 shots? So I thought I probably drank about seven bottles."
She explained, "While going around I received one shot from each person and then went to a second place to sing, received another shot there, felt very happy and received congratulations. I didn't want to say I can't drink at that gathering. So it wasn't the kind of situation where people forcibly made me drink."
