Singer and actor Lee Jun-ho drew a new stroke in the lineage of K-heroes.
Lee Jun-ho captivated global viewers by playing Kang Sang-ung, an ordinary public servant who saved money to buy a newlywed home and one day inherits superpowers from his father in the Netflix series Cashero.
In the drama, Sang-ung is a character caught in a dilemma over whether to protect the world or an individual's peace. Lee Jun-ho deeply expressed the psychology of a character conflicted at an unavoidable crossroads of choice, and with the activation condition that ability and money are inversely proportional, he solidly sustained the world by portraying the various episodes that arise sometimes amusingly and sometimes with weight.
Not only that, Sang-ung added to the drama's entertainment through close relationships with surrounding characters. To fight the Crime Association he showed extraordinary teamwork with the Korea Association of Superhumans member attorney (played by Kim Byung-chul), Bang Eun-mi (played by Kim Hyang-gi), and his girlfriend Min-sook (played by Kim Hye Jun), completing the "team Sang-ung" chemistry and playing the central role that lent three-dimensionality to the character.
Lee Jun-ho also maximized the spectacle of the work with dazzling action acting. From technical moves to detailed parts, his high-quality action that misses nothing increased immersion, and with the sound of falling coins he delivered exhilaration and grew into a true hero cheered by everyone, tightly building a "my money, my power" hero narrative.
Cashero, in which Lee Jun-ho played an active role, turned on the green light for box office success by ranking No. 1 in the Korean Netflix top 10 series category two days after release. It also proved explosive global response by ranking No. 2 in Netflix's global top 10 series (non-English) category.
In addition, Lee Jun-ho swept the topicality rankings and once again stamped an overwhelming presence. According to Good Data Corporation's FUNdex, in the TV-OTT drama topicality category for the fourth week of Dec. 2025, Cashero ranked No. 1, and in the cast topicality category Lee Jun-ho ranked No. 1, writing unstoppable records.
Meanwhile, Lee Jun-ho plans to continue with active activities.
