The group LE SSERAFIM became the first K-pop girl group to perform live on the New Year's Rockin' Eve broadcast. They showcased their might as the "strongest 4th-generation girl group" by performing at the United States' largest New Year's event watched around the world.
On Dec. 31 last year (local time) in Times Square, New York, U.S., "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026" (hereinafter "New Year's Rockin' Eve") took place. LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) became the first K-pop girl group to engage with the live audience at "New Year's Rockin' Eve," exerting global influence through the end of 2025.
On the day, LE SSERAFIM added intensity with red-point outfits in celebration of the year of the red horse. Amid the audience's roaring cheers, they performed the first single title track "SPAGHETTI (Member ver.)" and the mini album 4 title track "CRAZY." Audiences moved their bodies and immersed themselves in the performance to the song's strong addictive quality. The five members dominated the stage with varied facial expressions and overwhelming performances, filling the venue with energy. "CRAZY" became a hot topic as a "call-and-response anthem" during their first world tour held last year, "2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT'." Proving that, when the intro played, great cheers and support erupted at the site. Their impressive dance break left a strong impression on viewers worldwide.
In an interview with host Ryan Seacrest, LE SSERAFIM said, "It feels like a dream to be able to welcome the New Year in New York with the members. We sincerely thank everyone who came and the viewers. We especially want to thank FIEARNOT (fandom name). It is an honor to stand on this stage."
Also, Times Square posted performance photos on its official social media with the caption "Perfect Night with LE SSERAFIM." "Perfect Night" is a song LE SSERAFIM released in 2023.
Expectations for LE SSERAFIM's 2026 activities, following a spectacular end to the year, are rising. They will hold the encore concerts of their world tour at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1. The shows sold out both performances, and the additionally released limited-view seats also sold out in 10 minutes, demonstrating high popularity.
