Top model Gisele Bündchen reflected on becoming a mother again.
Gisele Bündchen posted an end-of-year message on her social media on Dec. 31 looking back on 2025. She wrote, "As 2025 comes to an end, my heart is full. This year brought deep lessons and great growth," and added, "becoming a mother again has completely changed my time, my priorities and my very heart."
She continued, "I am grateful for these sacred moments of holding my son in my arms and sending him off. It was a change that words cannot fully express," as she recalled time with the newborn. Bündchen added a warm new year greeting, saying, "I welcome the new year with gratitude and love and trust for the future."
Gisele Bündchen gave birth to a son in February with her husband, jiu-jitsu instructor Joachim Valente. The first name has not been disclosed, but it is known that the middle name is "River." Like daughter Vivian Lake (12) and son Benjamin Lane (15), it is a name themed around "water," reflecting Bündchen's consistent affectionate choice. The two older children were born from her marriage to her former husband, NFL player Tom Brady.
Three months after giving birth, Bündchen told Vogue France in an interview, "Once the baby started sleeping through the night, I got back my routine," and candidly said, "Anyone who is a new mother knows that sleep changes everything." She added, "Being able to spend every moment at home with the children is a blessing that cannot be exchanged for anything."
Meanwhile, Bündchen and Valente were married in a small ceremony last December in Surfside, Florida, becoming husband and wife. A close associate said, "The two are genuinely joyful about this new chapter of their lives and are creating a peaceful, love-filled environment for the whole family."
Meanwhile, Gisele Bündchen's former husband and former NFL player Tom Brady filed for divorce after 13 years of marriage in Oct. 2022, and the divorce was finalized a few days later.
Bündchen said she had been learning jiu-jitsu from Valente since 2021 but insisted she never cheated on Brady. In a 2024 interview with The New York Times, Bündchen dismissed the affair allegations and controversy, saying, "That is a lie."
