Brewmaster Yun from Netflix's Culinary Class Wars 2 is being reexamined as the makgeolli teacher of singer Beenzino and model Stephanie Michova.
In September, Michova's YouTube channel posted a video with the caption, Today I brewed traditional alcohol with the teacher I respect, Brewmaster Yun! From recipe research to hands-on production, and we even submitted an entry form to a competition. I'm so nervous.
In the video, German Michova said, One day I went to a traditional liquor bar with Seongbin (Beenzino) and met Yunjudang Nara there for the first time. We did a one-day traditional liquor class and it was so fun. I like making things with my hands, and she said she planned to take an advanced class. Michova expressed her happiness, saying her classmates were so kind.
When she returned from Germany, Michova moved Brewmaster Yun by giving gifts such as baby pretzels and toy cars.
Meanwhile, on Dec. 31 last year Brewmaster Yun posted on his social media, I nearly had a heart attack watching this week's episode, and thanked everyone sincerely for their support and warm encouragement. He then asked, Did you enjoy the alliance mission? and candidly shared his overwhelming feelings right after the broadcast.
He described the mission as a "fateful meeting." About chef Lim Seong-geun, with whom he worked closely, he said, My head chef has been a big fan of mine since Korean Cuisine Battle, and I nervously pursued him as a fan but he kindly accepted, for which I am grateful. At the moment a "axe" was taken out on set he said, I really screamed, recounting a mix of tension and laughter that drew attention. He jokingly added, Only I got to taste that delicious thing. He also recalled, It was the first time the black-and-white mission was even enjoyable, and teased, I'll go over the tiny afterstories step by step with chef Lim Seong-geun, raising expectations.
He also shared personal news. He said, I applied to Culinary Class Wars not long after giving birth, and said, This was a once-in-a-lifetime challenge I wouldn't get again, and I ran breathlessly through running a restaurant, teaching, writing a book and pop-ups. He added that he is currently taking a short break to spend time with family, look after his health and recharge.
