'I AM BOXER' is previewing three additional survivors who will return from hell.
On Jan. 2 (Fri), the seventh episode of tvN I AM BOXER (directed by Lee Won-woong, writer Kang Sook-kyung) will continue the eliminators' deathmatches, starting with Guk Seung-jun and Park Young-ho, followed by Shin Dong-hyun and Kim Hyun-jun, and Yuk Joon-seo and Kim Min-woo fighting desperately to survive.
Earlier, through the fourth fight prepared by current four-belt light heavyweight unified champion Dmitry Bivol and master Don Lee, a three-way match involving WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO, Jo Hyun-hye, Lee Chae-hyun, Kwon Oh-gon, Lee Gi-jun and Hong Seong-min survived among the 15 contestants.
The matchup between Guk Seung-jun and Park Young-ho, who have a big weight difference, kicked off the deathmatch, and 'body killer' Guk Seung-jun's body shots aimed at the opponent's torso did not work on the bigger, stronger Park Young-ho; on the contrary, Park Young-ho's fierce counterattacks exposed Guk Seung-jun's slips, raising curiosity about how the imperiled 'body killer' will overcome this.
Meanwhile, UDT veteran artist Yuk Joon-seo and MMA fighter Kim Min-woo engaged in a tense duel from the start that evoked a fight between beasts, heightening immersion.
