Comedian Kwak Beom expressed his sincere feelings for his two daughters as a doting "daughter-fool" dad.
Kwak appeared on the YouTube channel "Shin Women," released on the 30th, boasting about his eldest daughter who turned 12 and saying, "Aren't kids who realize they are good at something earlier than others called gifted? My eldest daughter already said in second grade of elementary school, 'I don't fit with studying.' I think she's gifted," he claimed.
When asked, 'If your daughter brings home a husband candidate when she grows up, what will you do?' Kwak immediately answered, "I'll punch him," and when Lee Kyung-sil, Cho Hye-lyeon, and Lee Sun-min staged a skit in front of his house showing an adult daughter kissing her boyfriend, he lost his temper and was unable to control his anger.
Kwak also said, "I heard a few months ago that my second daughter had a boyfriend, and I still haven't gotten over the shock." In response, Lee Kyung-sil and Cho Hye-lyeon said, "If she's in third grade of elementary school she probably just held hands," to which he sternly replied, "No, that's not allowed. Third graders don't hold hands with each other. They should wait until middle school," drawing laughter.
That day Kwak revealed several amusing anecdotes about his eldest daughter, who closely resembles her father. Kwak said, "My eldest daughter bragged at school that she was the fastest, so I expected her to compete in the track meet, but she was just walking alone. At the piano competition she obviously made mistakes and asked, 'Could you tell?' I also sent her to fencing, but in the second lesson she must have disliked it because she just stood still and only got poked," he said.
Kwak said, "When I put on the Kwak Kyung-young makeup and come home, my eldest greets me with, 'Hello, sir.' She's cheerful and I hope she becomes an entertainer," and boasted, "She recently passed a dance audition at a YouTube content company and joined them." He also said, "I try to do everything possible for my daughters. The reason I work hard is to give them everything they want," conveying his sincere feelings for his two daughters.
That day Kwak, addressing evaluations calling him the "Yu Jae-seok of YouTube," explained, "Some fans called me 'our own dark Yu Jae-seok,' and that got distorted," and he also revealed an anecdote about recently appearing on a program with the real Yu Jae-seok.
