Singer and actor Hwang Min-hyun shared his feelings about returning as an MBC Gayo Daejejeon host after two years.
The 2025 MBC Gayo Daejejeon, held at MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi, on the 31st, opened with SHINee's Minho, ALLDAY PROJECT's Annie, and Hwang Min-hyun as hosts.
On the day he announced his return to activities for the first time since his discharge from military service, Hwang Min-hyun said, "I'm back after two years. I'm Hwang Min-hyun, returning to my main profession as a host of the Gayo Daejejeon."
Earlier, Hwang Min-hyun was discharged on the 20th. Minho said, "I missed Min-hyun so much," adding, "Doesn't this year's Gayo Daejejeon feel more exciting from the start? Even walking out here seems to make the rhythm feel upbeat."
Hwang Min-hyun said, "I wondered if it was because it's been two years for me, but after hearing Minho's words, it seems thanks to the band's live performance."
Meanwhile, Hwang Min-hyun debuted in 2012 as a member of NU'EST and re-debuted in 2017 as a member of Wanna One after appearing on Mnet's Produce 101 Season 2. After that project ended, Hwang Min-hyun returned to NU'EST and is currently active as a solo singer and actor, appearing in dramas such as Live On, Hwanhon, There's No Use Lying, and Study Club.
