'2025 SBS 연기대상' Jeon Yeo-been broke into tears as she accepted the Excellence in Acting Award.
On the afternoon of the 31st at SBS Prism Tower, at the '2025 SBS Drama Awards' Jeon Yeo-been won the Excellence in Acting Award for women in the melodrama institutional sector. Jeon Yeo-been played the terminally ill Da-eun in "Our Movie" and portrayed a story of quietly yet calmly sharing love with Namkoong Min.
The drama drew attention as the comeback work of ratings king Namkoong Min, but Namkoong Min's name rose and fell because the ratings were not particularly high. However, Jeon Yeo-been paid no mind to any of that and opened her acceptance speech by saying, "I am Jeon Yeo-been, who plays Lee Da-eun in 'Our Movie.' First, I want to dedicate this award to my sparkling partner, senior Namkoong Min, whom I loved so much."
Jeon Yeo-been fiddled with the trophy and then said, "And the character I play in 'Our Movie' is such a beautiful person, and I have a sense of guilt that I did not do her justice. I feel very sorry," and tears finally welled up.
She said, "I thank the director and the writer, and the director of photography who gave me great strength on set, the lighting director who shone light with sparkling eyes, the sound actors and our production crew, my team who made me up — I will take this award as a mandate to pursue more sincere acting and work diligently. Thank you," naming the staff one by one as she expressed gratitude and vowed to become a better actor.
