At the '2025 SBS Entertainment Awards', candid confessions from the winners in the female reality institutional sector delivered a deep resonance.
At the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards broadcast on the 30th, the Excellence Award in the female reality institutional sector was awarded to Park Ha-yan of Shooting Stars.
The female institutional sector grand prize was jointly awarded to Lee Hyun-yi of Same Bed, Different Dreams and Kim Jin-kyung of Shooting Stars, drawing applause.
In her acceptance remarks, Lee Hyun-yi opened by saying, "I think I am receiving this award not because I did well but on behalf of the production staff who made it." She said, "These days I am juggling various roles and living frantically," and candidly expressed, "Working mothers all want to do well, so I always live with a feeling of guilt toward my children and husband."
She added, "I debuted as an SBS supermodel in 2005, and this year marks my 20th anniversary. I have lived well as a working mother for 20 years," and offered encouragement, "I will take this award as words of encouragement. I hope all working mothers across the country stay strong."
Co-winner Kim Jin-kyung shared unexpectedly happy news. She said, "A soccer player suddenly appeared in the family, so my family must have been very surprised, but thank you for always cheering me on," and added, "I am grateful to and love my husband, who gives me both carrot and stick." She then revealed, "The baby in my womb, our second child, is growing healthily," surprising those present.
Kim Jin-kyung added with a bright smile, "It is a pity to take a break from soccer for a while, but I will return in healthier condition." She became close to her husband, Kim Seung-gyu, through their shared interest in "soccer" and developed into a romantic relationship, and they held a wedding at a hotel in Seoul in June last year. Congratulations continued on the news of a second child announced about a year and a half after their marriage.
The ceremony that day left a warm afterglow as it spotlighted the lives, choices and new beginnings of women who quietly endured in their respective places.
