Comedian Cho Sae-ho announced his return less than a month after declaring a pause in activities. He joins the new season of the Netflix variety show "Screwballs" and will meet viewers again.
On the 31st, a person involved with the Netflix variety show "Screwballs" told OSEN, "Both the cast and production team are working hard to prepare the new season," and gave the official statement, "Mr. Cho Sae-ho will also join the next season following the previous season."
"Screwballs" is a variety show depicting the daily lives of the top 99% of talents living as if their screws are loose. Kim Sook, Hong Jin Kyung, Cho Sae-ho, Joo Woo-jae and 2PM's Jang Wooyoung, who worked together on KBS2's "Hong Gim Jeon," reunited with producer Park In-seok and drew attention. It is essentially a program that carries on the identity of "Hong Gim Jeon," and it has maintained high recognition among viewers.
In this context, attention is focused as news of season 4 production and Cho Sae-ho's joining were announced. In particular, since Cho Sae-ho had recently announced a pause in activities amid various controversies, this comeback is receiving even more attention.
Earlier, Cho Sae-ho was embroiled in allegations of ties to organized crime and came under public scrutiny. An internet user claimed connections with organized crime in the Geochang area through SNS, releasing photos and circumstances, and raised suspicions that Cho Sae-ho was linked to illegal gambling funds.
