At the '2025 SBS Entertainment Awards,' alongside the team spirit of Same Bed, Different Dreams 2, Kim Jin Kyung's surprise pregnancy news warmed the awards ceremony.
At the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards broadcast on the 30th, as the curtains rose on the ceremony, the honor of the best teamwork award went to Same Bed, Different Dreams 2. The producers introduced that the program will move to a Tuesday 10:40 p.m. time slot and said, "We will further revitalize the program. We will also fill the vacancy left by Dolsing Four Men."
The cast members also conveyed their sincere feelings. Jo Woo Jong said, "I didn't know. Please tell me these kinds of stories too," eliciting laughter, then said, "I hope many people will reach the altar thanks to the program." Lee Ji Hye said, "Same Bed, Different Dreams made my name widely known, so it is a precious program," and frankly shared, "Having my husband with me stabilizes my life. I recommend marriage."

Kim Jin Kyung surprised the audience by announcing unexpected news at the end of her acceptance speech. She said, "A soccer player suddenly appeared in the family, so the family must have been very surprised, but thank you for always cheering me on," and added, "I am grateful to and love my husband, who gives me both carrot and stick more than anyone." She then revealed, "There is a baby in my belly. the second child is growing up healthy," receiving warm congratulations.
Kim Jin Kyung added, "It's a pity to take a break from soccer for a while, but I will return in a healthier form," conveying her resolve as an expectant mother. She developed from friends to lovers with her husband, Kim Seung Gyu, through their shared interest in "soccer," and held a wedding at a hotel in Seoul last June. The pregnancy news, announced about a year and six months after their marriage, drew congratulations from both the venue and viewers.
Meanwhile, Kim Seung Gyu played for Saudi Professional League Al Shabab FC until last year, then transferred this year to Japan J.League FC Tokyo and is active as a goalkeeper for the South Korea men's national soccer team.
