Jeong Seung-je delivers a blunt message to a lodger's mother.
In episode 6 of the T-cast E Channel variety program "Life take-down: Jeong Seung-je boarding house" (hereinafter "Jeong Seung-je boarding house") airing on the 31st, Jeong Seung-je, Jeong Hyung Don, and Han Sun-hwa meet with a lodger's mother who visited the boarding house for the first time.
Earlier, Min-su's mother, who had pleaded, "My 25-year-old son (Min-su) lies down all day and I'm worried. Please make him walk around," visits the boarding house that day to request a meeting. With Min-su present, the mother mentions her son's passive personality and vents the parts that trouble her.
Listening intently to the mother, Jeong Seung-je diagnoses, "From my perspective, you have many problems. Why do you keep living with an adult son? Because you provide 24-hour full care, even if Min-su wants to live actively, he couldn't."
Han Sun-hwa also asks, "I heard that you even know Min-su's university schedule," and Jeong Seung-je bluntly replies, "Why are you doing that? You should have done that only until he was 19, now he's an adult... If my parents had asked about my college schedule, I would have left home."
He continues, "The reason Min-su has struggled the most so far is that he thinks he's worthless because he falls short of his parents' expectations," speaking for Min-su's feelings. But the mother replies, "Teacher, you are too on Min-su's side," frustrated, and Jeong Seung-je ultimately addresses Min-su with a blunt remark: "Min-su, you're normal so you can leave the facility. Your mother should move in (to the boarding house)."
Nonetheless, the mother responds, "Min-su is lucky. There are many people here on his side," creating a dramatic(?) atmosphere. Attention is focused on whether Jeong Seung-je, Jeong Hyung Don, and Han Sun-hwa can mend the rift between the mother and son with sincere and "fact-packed" advice.
Meanwhile, Jeong Seung-je makes the "legendary cheese roll bread" for the lodgers that day. The "cheese roll bread," which Jeong Seung-je fervently praised during a lecture as "the enemy of diets" but so delicious, once surpassed 10 million views under the title "the bread that makes you sadder the more you eat it." Jeong Seung-je spreads ingredients alone at the boarding house dining table and casually spreads jam on the bread. He then continues explaining aloud as if he were a one-man broadcast BJ, embarrassing Jeong Hyung Don and Han Sun-hwa. Eventually Jeong Seung-je brings the finished bread right up to the camera and asks, "Doesn't it look incredibly tasty?" Seeing this, Jeong Hyung Don and Han Sun-hwa say, "Teacher looks a little scary..." and a chaotic party ensues.
