The group &TEAM showcased overwhelming performance skills and dominated year-end major music stages in both Korea and Japan.
&TEAM appeared on KBS2's "2025 MUSIC BANK global festival in japan," which aired on the 30th, and performed the title track "Back to Life" from their Korean mini album 1. At this festival held at the Tokyo National Stadium in Japan, &TEAM captured the attention of about 60,000 spectators by clearly revealing nine members' nine distinct charms with a dazzling synchronized dance featuring a dance break.
On the same day, &TEAM also appeared on TBS's "the 67th Japan Record Awards: shining!" and passionately performed their third Japanese single "Go in Blind." As the song's message, "if we are together, we can overcome any path," suggests, &TEAM expressed the nine members' unity and confidence on stage. In particular, their perfect synchronized performance carried out with eyes covered maximized their trademark explosive energy and left a strong impression.
&TEAM took the stage that day as the recipient of the "special international music award," given to artists who showed outstanding global activity during the year. &TEAM said, "Next year we will do our best and be a hardworking &TEAM," delivering thanks in four languages: Korean, Japanese, English and Chinese.
&TEAM expanded their global popularity this year with noteworthy achievements. They became million sellers with their third Japanese single "Go in Blind." They also successfully completed an Asia tour that drew about 160,000 people across 10 cities. In addition, by releasing the Korean mini album 1 "Back to Life" and selling 1.13 million copies on the first day of release alone, they became the first Japanese artist to achieve million-seller status in both Korea and Japan.
&TEAM also entered the U.S. Billboard charts for the first time. "Back to Life" rose to No. 5 on Billboard's "World Albums," No. 12 on "Top Current Album Sales," and No. 13 on "Top Album Sales," among other major subcharts. On the strength of this popularity, &TEAM reached No. 1 on the "Emerging Artists" chart. The U.S. business magazine Forbes noted them as "a group that adds new meaning to the expanding definition of K-pop."
