At the '2025 SBS Drama Awards' held at SBS Prism Tower on the afternoon of the 31st, the lifetime achievement award was given to the late Lee Soon-jae. Shin Dong-yeob said, "He always moved us, and now there is someone watching over us as a star. We will follow in that person's footsteps," and released a VCR containing the late Lee Soon-jae's lifetime footage, interview audio and other materials.
Lee Soon-jae said, "An actor must play everything: king, beggar, villain; you must constantly worry. Even now when I look at a script like this I feel I should do something, I still have ambition," and added, "I said I would live past 100," showing that his passion for acting had not changed at all, but his aging as a person made people feel sad.

Shin Dong-yeob said, "I will offer this on behalf of the teacher who will always shine in heaven," and added, "and I express my condolences to the late Yoon Seok-hwa, who was a star of the theater world, and to the actors who have passed away one by one," expressing condolences for the late Yoon Seok-hwa and other deceased actors.
