A Sparta Club official said about the reason for selecting Shim Eunkyung as its brand model, "Actress Shim Eunkyung is a global actress who has built her own path by believing in herself while working on domestic and global stages, and we thought she would be a person who could effectively convey the campaign's message." He added, "Because she is an actress loved for her solid acting skills, we judged that simply appearing on screen would be enough to bring out the appeal of a cinematic mood advertisement."
In this advertising campaign, Shim Eunkyung appears in striking red leather outfits from head to toe, roaming the city and showing a different side of herself. Against the dark and desolate city backdrop, the all-red & leather outfit's stylish visuals, refined urban aura and her low murmured voice have sparked great attention, appearing almost like a scene from an SF movie.
Meanwhile, Shim Eunkyung achieved the feat of being nominated for best actress at the Japan Nikkan Sports Film Awards and the Singapore International Film Festival for the film 'Travel and Days,' and she is carving out a solid presence in the domestic and international film world, with domestic audiences approaching 50,000 viewers.
