The Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong couple from "Moon River" received the honor of the "best couple" award.
On the 30th broadcast of the 2025 MBC Drama Awards, with Kim Sung-Ju and actor Lee Sun-bin hosting as MCs, the presentation of the "best couple" award, decided by viewer votes, took place.
Presenting the award were Lee Sung-kyoung and Chae Jong Hyeop, who teamed up for the upcoming drama "Your dazzling season." After intense competition, Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong were selected as the best couple.

Kang Tae-oh began by saying, I felt Kim Se-jeong's sincerity very strongly and I am grateful, then added, I also thank the viewers and fans who loved the Kang-dal couple so much in the work. This is my first time receiving a couple award, and I heard that many actors especially covet this award. I wondered why, but after standing on stage and hearing Se-jeong's remarks just now, I think I know how it feels.
He said, I think the chemistry and atmosphere with a partner on set is extremely important, and that energy is delivered intact to the work.
