Seventeen, when everything is confusing, the topsy-turvy youth romance We're Every Day, which began with a childhood friend's sudden confession, has set its release for February 2026 and released a teaser poster.
We're Every Day is a youth romance film based on the webtoon of the same name that recorded more than 16 million views exclusively on KakaoPage and made readers flutter, and it depicts the story that begins one day before entering high school when Hosu (Lee Chae-min) suddenly confesses to Yeoul (Kim Sae-ron). Embarrassed by the childhood friend's sudden confession and kiss, Yeoul gets angry and the friendship ends. Then at the much-anticipated high school entrance ceremony, Yeoul and Hosu end up at the same school and in the same class. In a relationship completely different from before and amid a friendship that has ended, the two spend uncomfortable days, and Yeoul and Hosu's relationship becomes increasingly confused. Seventeen, whose friendship has already ended, in the feeling of first love they are experiencing for the first time, arouses curiosity about what story the two youths will draw. The role of the boy experiencing first love, O Hosu, is played by Lee Chae-min.
We're Every Day is the screen debut and first lead role for Lee Chae-min, a Chungmuro prospect who has rapidly emerged as a new romance icon. In the film We're Every Day, Lee Chae-min transforms into a high school student falling into fresh first love, completely different from his previous work, raising expectations that he will show a new charm. The high school girl Han Yeoul, who is thrown into confusion by a childhood friend's sudden confession, is played by the late Kim Sae-ron, who passed away earlier this year. Kim Sae-ron, who met audiences with a solid filmography since her child actor days, was loved for her clear smile and impressive acting. We're Every Day fully captures Kim Sae-ron's lively charm, allowing audiences to see her perfect transformation into the tomboyish Yeoul. Not only Lee Chae-min and Kim Sae-ron but also Choi Yoo-joo, formerly of the girl group Cherry Bullet, who has met audiences through various dramas, and Ryu Ui-hyeon, who started as a child actor and drew a 10s-20s fandom through the web drama A-Teen, among other Chungmuro rookies, all appear, reportedly creating a fresh romance possible only for youth and raising expectations.
The teaser poster released with the opening confirmation shows Hosu and Yeoul sharing an umbrella in the steady rain. Hosu's earnest face, combined with the copy "Does first love really not come true?", honestly conveys the confusion of a seventeen-year-old boy experiencing the new emotion of first love. Meanwhile, Yeoul's expression fully reveals the sense of loss over the friendship broken by Hosu's confession, evoking sympathy. In this way, the teaser poster, which captures the excitement and pain of first love that anyone has experienced at least once in a single shot, further whets anticipation for the youths' first-love story that We're Every Day will present.
