Actor Han Ji-eun solidified her status as a rising star by winning the Icon Award at the 2025 SeoulCon APAN Star Awards (2025 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS).
Han Ji-eun attended the 2025 SeoulCon APAN Star Awards (2025 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS), held on the 29th at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Art Hall 1, and accepted the honor of the award.
Now in its 11th year, the APAN Star Awards is the country's only integrated drama awards ceremony covering content across all domestic channels, including terrestrial broadcasters, general programming channels, cable, OTT and web dramas. When Han Ji-eun took the stage to receive the Icon Award, she said she was grateful to be able to end the year with such a precious award and added that there may be people who always fight loneliness and solitude in the darkness and that she herself also had many such days, but she was certain that if people persevere without giving up, good things will come and she hoped people would believe that feeling and keep running hard.
Han Ji-eun was active across film, drama and theater throughout 2025, showcasing her best work as an all-rounder. In the film Hitman 2 she played Jeon Hae-in, a museum director who hides secrets behind a kind smile, perfectly delivering action and comic performances, and in the film Only God Knows Everything she projected heavy charisma in the role of detective Joo-young.
Han Ji-eun's charm also shone in drama. She played Choi Goeun, CEO of MZ Electronics, in the tvN weekend drama When the Stars Gossip, showing girl-crush charisma, and through the fixed-term teacher Lee Han-gyeong character in the TVING original Study Group she portrayed the face of a passionate teacher. She also achieved the feat of entering the Japanese market by playing Woo Seo-young, the eldest daughter of the Uroa Group and executive vice president overseeing the global Logistx division, in the Korea-Japan co-produced drama First Love DOGS, jointly produced by Japan's terrestrial broadcaster TBS and Studio Dragon.
In addition, Han Ji-eun made her theater debut in productions such as Anna X and White Rabbit Red Rabbit, demonstrating a solid presence on stage.
