On Thursday, Jan. 1, next year, MBC's 'Save us! Homes' (directors: Jeong Da-hi, Nam You Joung, Heo Ja-yoon, Kim Seong-nyeon; hereafter "Homes") will send comedian Im Woo-il, trot singer Park Ji-hyun and Kim Dae-ho on the new year's first site visit.
The episode departs on the new year's first day of the 2026 Byeong-o year with the theme "the first home of life." The new year's first site visit will feature comedian Im Woo-il, trot singer Park Ji-hyun and Kim Dae-ho together.
Before the main site visit, Park Ji-hyun, the singer dubbed "the son of Mokpo," who appeared in the studio, shares her impressions in a folksy dialect. She said she is in her fourth year as a trot singer and called herself "just a tadpole," adding that it would take about 10 years to escape being a tadpole.
Yang Se-chan asks Park Ji-hyun, who has many mother fans, for her "know-how for capturing mothers' hearts." Park Ji-hyun says she always has cheesy(?) lines ready and says she specially prepared 'Homes'-tailored cheesy lines, heightening curiosity. Hearing Park Ji-hyun's lines, the 'Homes' coordinators repeatedly express admiration for her sense and predict she will hit the mark with women's hearts, raising expectations.
Asked about the first home that remains most memorable, Park Ji-hyun said she would pick the detached house in Mokpo where she lived with her father, saying it holds many precious memories and she would like to live in a house again later.
Gathered at the opening location for the new year's first site visit, Im Woo-il, Kim Dae-ho and Park Ji-hyun introduce the special ties among the three. Kim Dae-ho said, "Exactly one year ago, we went on stage for a special year-end awards performance and danced to DJ DOC together," and they performed an impromptu dance without music. Im Woo-il, who reproduced the perfect choreography, said, "We practiced so hard at the time that my body still remembers it."
Arriving in Gwanak District, Seoul, the three introduce Gwanak as "the place with the highest single-person household rate in Seoul" and as "the mecca of coming to the capital." When the three arrived at the rooftop room site and were taken aback by the host's dazzling visuals, Kim Sook also said, "Among the four, they look the most like a celebrity," drawing attention to who the host really is.
