Actor Uhm Ji-won received the top prize at the APAN Star Awards as a key figure in the success of 'Please Take Care of the Eagle 5'.
On the 29th afternoon at Art Hall 1 of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, the 2025 Seoulcon APAN Star Awards (2025 Seoulcon APAN STAR AWARDS) were held. At this ceremony, which awarded a total of 19 institutional sector categories including the grand prize and the work award, Uhm Ji-won received the best acting award, recognized for her ability to raise the overall density of the work in 'Please Take Care of the Eagle 5.' Uhm Ji-won added this best acting award to her two wins earlier this month at the AAA, bringing her total to three, which made her even happier.
Holding the trophy, Uhm Ji-won said, "This year has been an eventful year, and I also had both difficult and good times. If the work I participated in, 'Please Take Care of the Eagle 5,' even in a small way brought joy to viewers' weekends, there would be nothing more to be thankful for in my life as an actor. I want to be an actor who gives joy, comfort, strength and hope through acting," she said in her acceptance remarks.
Meanwhile, the integrated drama awards ceremony, the 2025 Seoulcon APAN Star Awards (2025 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS), gathered the leading figures who lit up drama in one place as a festival to repay the love received from global fans, was broadcast through TVN and Tving, and this year the honors went to, among others, grand prize winner IU, An Jaewook, Lee Jun-ho and Cha Joo-young.
